The letter “K” stands tall and open – symbolising the balance between affirming who we are and embracing the world around us. Beyond its relational symbolism, “K” also refers in economics to the multiplier effect described by Keynes – an effect that perfectly represents the fruit of our partnership.
The story started when Ludovic Kosloff-Treister founded the consultancy under his own name. For the first three years, he delivered freelance assignments for several Paris-based consultancies.
Kamae Conseil launched as a brand, with services in training, coaching, team building and change management. Chantelle was the first to trust us, soon followed by Cartier – who gave us our very first international mission – and then Elior, Genzyme, Comptoir des Cotonniers and many others.
Alain Treister joined his brother Ludovic as Associate Director after 15 years in the consulting world. Together, they built a strong dual leadership and a dynamic network of freelance consultants to keep growing.
Kamae Conseil acquired NG Coaching, adding new services such as skills assessments and recruitment support. This meant we could support clients across the whole HR development journey. At the same time, new consultants joined to enrich the team.
All our activities came together under the Kamae Conseil name. A new website went live, and our team of 9 consultants supported 22 clients.
We opened Kamae Consulting Hong Kong to serve clients across Asia-Pacific and accompany our international projects. By then, 34 clients – 15 in active partnership – placed their trust in us. The Paris team grew with 4 new consultants, while 2 Hong Kong-based consultants joined the adventure.
In 2020–2021, the Covid-19 pandemic hit the training industry hard. Kamae Conseil overcame the crisis thanks to its strong roots in the luxury sector, the adaptation of its services to new formats required by the health situation, and the strong support of both longstanding and recent clients. The firm restructured by returning to its original model (with Ludovic resuming sole leadership after Alain’s departure) and took the opportunity to completely overhaul its administrative processes. This work enabled Kamae Conseil to obtain Qualiopi certification for its training programmes in November 2021. The arrival of an Executive Assistant further strengthened operations, preparing the firm for 2022 with confidence.
While Asia faced further challenges (with successive political and health crises in Hong Kong forcing us to close the office opened in 2016, and the reintegrate local teams into the French structure), recovery began in Europe, allowing training organisations to regain optimism. After two years of slowdown, companies of all sectors launched projects again, highlighting how essential training, coaching and team building are to strengthen teams and regain market share. For us, 2022 was more intense than ever: the rise of “soft skills” as a key driver of performance opened the door to new collaborations, with organisations choosing Kamae Conseil for our recognised expertise in relational effectiveness.
